Relish Restaurant & Bar, a neighborhood eatery offering classic, American cuisine fused with Mediterranean influences, introduces new dishes to its menu inspired by the spring and summer seasons.

Executive Chef Dustin Teague’s individuality and southern roots reveal themselves in his fresh take on these new offerings. Inspired by the Houston heat, Teague utilizes seasonal fruits, jalapeños, hazelnuts and tangy lime zest for a summer spin on Relish’s classic Snapper Crudo. Sides were given a seasonal spin with additions such as fresh mint to the sautéed squash and salty cotija cheese along with dill and cayenne to the grilled corn, a personal favorite of the Teague’s. Not to miss, the New Orleans-Style BBQ Shrimp wows with the holy trinity, a Creole-inspired pan sauce, crispy leeks, creamy polenta and charred okra. The Summer Tagliatelle is a perfect, fresh find for vegetarians with basil pesto, blistered tomatoes, pine nuts and parmesan and the Mediterranean Salmon features the chef’s favorite spring-summer vegetables and herbs such as asparagus, peas and mint.

With an ongoing focus on fresh ingredients and value placed on customer feedback, Relish Restaurant & Bar is no stranger to an evolving menu curated by seasonal ingredients and fan favorites. Its loyal customers, some of whom have become close friends and almost like family, will relish in the new dishes that remain true to the eatery’s roots of American food with a southern flare, Italian and French influence, served in a hospitable atmosphere.
