When: Thursday, September 5 | 11am - 2pm
What: Churrasco Food Truck will showcase its riodizio-style menu of tender and juicy meat treats alongside fresh salads and delicious hot dishes. As a special nod to National Honey Month Nando’s Honey will also be on-hand with a retail pop-up of its locally produced products. Singer and guitarist Ramon Torres – a CityPlace staple – will provide the day’s easy listening soundtrack.

What: Every Saturday from 8:30 am until 9:30 am Camp Gladiator brings its acclaimed cardio and strength training boot camp to CityPlace’s core.

What: A perfect cool down post boot camp or standalone activity for those looking for a lower impact workout, CityPlace will also host a complimentary Yoga Works session on the green every Saturday from 10 until 11 am.

What: Meditation Mondays begin on September 9 with renowned meditation guru Sarah Fohey. Start the week on the right foot from 9 until 9:30 am with this complimentary offering as Fohey leads attendees through various mental exercises.
Children’s Storytime Welcomes Poppy
When: Thursday, September 12 from 6-7 pm
What: Family favorite Children’s Storytime welcomes Poppy from the popular animated film Trolls to the plaza on Thursday, September 12 from 6 until 7 pm. Kids love this interactive experience, and many enjoy dressing in character.

What: the plaza comes alive with CityPlace Sips as DJ London – one of Houston’s premier female DJs – emcees an evening of bingo and family games. There is no charge to attend, and prizes will be awarded to bingo winners. Representatives of Susan G. Komen will be on site to provide details on Race for the Cure, and the first 50 people to sign up for the October 5 fundraising run/walk event will receive a free movie pass to CityPlace’s new Star Cinema Grill. Guests can quench their thirst with complimentary samplings from Michelob Ultra. Tag a photo of the Susan G. Komen/Michelob Ultra Beer pink delivery truck during the evening for a chance to win additional prizes. A variety of adult and kid-friendly beverages and snacks will also be available for sale.
Coffee & Cars
When: Saturday, September 28 from 8-11 am
What: CityPlace will debut its first Coffee & Cars. This wildly popular gathering of auto enthusiasts began over a decade ago and provides owners and buffs the opportunity to view and visit about a variety of exotic, specialty and one-of-a-kind vehicles. CityPlace’s SwitcHouse restaurant will offer an alfresco pop up selling coffee refreshments and morning snacks.
